Convert your menu into an order form

Bring your current menu into Neartail and review products and prices before sharing.

Use menu conversion when your business already has a menu and you want customers to order from it through a form.

Prepare the menu

Use the current menu with complete product names, prices, units, and options. Make distinctions explicit: a price per meal differs from a price per kilogram, and a size option may have its own price.

Include collection or delivery terms you want the form to ask about. Keep ingredients, allergens, and nutrition information accurate to your own products.

Start the conversion

  1. Open the order form creator.
  2. Choose Convert your menu to an order form.
  3. Supply your menu using the source options offered on that screen.
  4. Review the proposed outline and generated form before sharing.
Start with the menu conversion route, then review the generated form.

Review every product

Work through the menu item by item. For each product, check:

DetailWhat to confirm
Name and descriptionThe customer can identify the item and understand what is included
Price and currencyThe amount matches your current menu
UnitQuantity, weight, portion, or pack is represented correctly
OptionsSizes, variants, and paid extras have the correct choices and prices
AvailabilityItems not offered this week are hidden or unavailable
Customer informationName, contact details, and collection or delivery questions are present

Use product settings to correct the result. Generated descriptions should be reviewed before they become customer-facing information.

Check an example order

Choose products whose subtotal you can calculate yourself. Compare that subtotal with the form, then check fees, discounts, and the amount due separately. Review totals if the amount differs.

Maintain the next menu

You can update products and hide items for a later week rather than reconstructing the form each time. Follow the weekly meal prep workflow to connect menu updates with ordering deadlines, preparation totals, and packing.
