Run a weekly meal prep ordering cycle
Rotate a weekly menu, collect meal choices before the deadline, and turn orders into preparation quantities and packing lists.
Use one complete ordering cycle for each menu period: prepare the menu, collect choices, close ordering, prepare the meals, and pack by customer. Neartail's main product is designed around this changing-menu workflow.
Prepare the week's offer
Keep a catalog of meals you reuse. Add this week's meals, update prices and portion choices, and hide products you are not offering. If you use a separate form each week, duplicate the relevant form and review its menu, dates, and settings before sharing it.
Use categories to help customers browse. Explain portions and collection arrangements. Keep premium-item pricing explicit when offering a meal-count discount.
Collect complete orders
Include customer details, meal quantities and options, and pickup or delivery information. Show the order total before submission. Choose whether customers pay online, follow instructions, or pay later.
Share one current link through the channels customers use. Put the ordering deadline in the form and configure the supported open or closed state.
Prepare from the right orders
After the cutoff, review the orders for that period. Resolve duplicates, canceled requests, and payment conditions before preparing quantities. Use the production report to group meals and quantities, rather than adding every customer order by hand.
Pack and hand off
Use a packing or pickup list containing the customer's name, selected meals, and the relevant address or collection details. Check the contents against the order and move it through your fulfillment stages.
Before reopening ordering, review the next menu and remove the old period's promotional text. If you reuse the same form, keep reporting filters aligned to the intended week so earlier orders do not enter the new preparation totals.
