Collect registration fees donations or memberships
Use a payment form to connect attendee or member details with a fixed, calculated, or respondent-entered amount.
A payment form can collect a registration, membership, booking request, or donation without a product catalog. Start with the information your team needs to accept and handle the request.
Choose the amount rule
| Example | Form design |
|---|---|
| Workshop registration | Ticket type and number of places determine the amount |
| Membership application | Selected membership level determines the fee |
| Donation | A numeric field lets the respondent enter a contribution |
| Booking request | Choices calculate an amount, or staff confirm it before payment |
Decide whether submission reserves a place or whether payment or staff approval is required. State the rule before the submit action.
Build the form
- Add the respondent's name, contact details, and the selections required for the request.
- Configure the amount and show it clearly.
- Choose automated collection, manual instructions, or pay later.
- Add a confirmation explaining the next step, such as arrival instructions or when staff will respond.
- Review a complete example from the public form through the saved response.
Manage responses
Use Responses to find the request and its payment information. Create statuses that reflect the work, such as awaiting review and confirmed, if they fit your process. Keep the payment state distinct from an attendance or application decision.
If you publish the form on a website, use a clear home-page action so visitors can find it. If a business has several events or forms, use Quick Links rather than replacing the primary form for every new request.
See confirmation emails and reports for attendee or member lists.
