Payment forms

Collect a response and its amount, choose how customers pay, and keep payment information with the request.

Use a payment form for an order, registration, booking, membership, or donation. The form collects the information you need and supplies the amount for the payment step.

A submitted response, a completed payment, and a fulfilled order are different events. Decide which of them is required before your team starts work.

Choose the payment route and the field that supplies the amount.

Set up a payment form

  1. Start from Payment form and choose Try it free, or open a form you own. The payment chooser offers Add payment to your Google Forms, Convert your menu to a payment form, and Enter your form name.
  2. Add the respondent details and choices you need. Include an email field if you want to send a receipt or payment instructions.
  3. Set a fixed or calculated amount and check it in Preview.
  4. Open the form's payment configuration. Enable the appropriate method and complete the provider's setup.
  5. Review the customer flow and confirmation email before sharing the form.

For an order form, keep the amount customers see and the amount supplied to payment connected to the same calculation. Recheck this connection after replacing a total field.

Existing Google Forms add-on users

Older help articles may refer to the Peergateway add-on and Configure payment in Google Forms. Use those instructions when you are working in that add-on. The managed Neartail editor has its own payment controls; installing another add-on is not a required step for every Neartail form.
